Logan Paul, YouTube Star and Professional Wrestler, Facing Class-Action Lawsuit Over Non-Fungible Token Sales

Famous YouTube star and professional wrestler Logan Paul is facing a proposed classaction lawsuit from a number of associates over Nonfungible Token (NFT) sales for his project CryptoZoo, which never materialized. According to the lawsuit, Paul and associates promoted CryptoZoos products to consumers unfamiliar with digital currency products, leading to tens of thousands of people purchasing said products. The lawsuit claims that the defendants deceived customers and manipulated the digital currency market for Zoo Tokens to their advantage. If the lawsuit is successful, it may set a precedent for the regulation of NFTs in the future.

Cryptocurrency fraud allegations have risen to a new level as the Paul Network, comprised of associates Danielle Strobel, Jeff Levin, Ebbie Ibanez, Jake Greenbaum (also known as Crypto King), and Ophir Bentov, finds itself facing a lawsuit. This comes on the heels of an investigative series by YouTube journalistCoffeeZilla which outlined his belief that the project was fraudulent. CryptoZoo Class Action Seeks Punitive Damages

CryptoZoo is being targeted with a class action lawsuit by its NFT token holders, alleging that the company was engaged in fraudulent, malicious, intentional, willful, wanton, or reckless conduct that evidenced a conscious disregard for their rights. Seeking punitive damages, the lawsuit aims to provide compensation to the estimated 20,000 token holders.
